Zach Wadley
Zach Wadley is currently the sports information director at Marian University - Indianapolis. Wadley came to Marian after two years as a graduate assistant in the Illinois State University athletics communications office.

A 2014 graduate of Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana, Wadley spent three years as a student assistant in the AU sports information office. While at Anderson, he provided play-by-play and color commentary for seven different sports, and assisted on postgame releases, stats and public address announcing. Wadley also served three years as the sports editor of Anderson’s student newspaper, The Andersonian, and covered all 15 intercollegiate sports at AU.

Upon graduation from Anderson, the Bourbonnais, Illinois, native was hired as a graduate assistant in the Illinois State athletics communications office. Wadley obtained his Master’s degree in sport management while serving as the primary media contact for women’s soccer and softball. Wadley served as the play-by- play commentator, produced weekly game notes and preseason media guides and maintained the ISU athletics website, GoRedbirds.com.

Wadley has also worked with the Big Ten Conference during the men’s basketball tournament in Indianapolis and the NCAA during the men’s basketball Midwest Regional at Lucas Oil Stadium.


Nate Wadley
Nate Wadley is currently a grad student at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. An exercise science major, Nate is from Bourbonnais, Ill. and graduated from Anderson University in 2016 and Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in 2012. 

Wadley served as a goalkeeper on the Anderson University soccer team. During his senior season, he started for the second-consecutive year and finished his collegiate career with 12 career shutouts. In 2013, he racked up nine shutouts, setting a new single-season record at Anderson.

While at BBCHS, Nate was a three-sport athlete all four years, lettering in soccer, basketball and baseball. He was named to the 2012 Southwest Suburban All-Conference teams for both soccer and baseball. 

Although he is studying in the Exercise Science field, Wadley has been a published writer since the age of 11. He covered youth soccer and baseball for the Kankakee Daily Journal and became a regular contributor to The World of Wadley in late 2011.
